Career Opportunity:

We are currently recruiting a Junior Accountant for our Belfast office. 

Within a team, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Assisting in a portfolio of clients for who you will take ownership of producing monthly, quarterly and yearly deliverables and maintaining the client relationship.
• Regular communication with clients to ensure deliverables are accurate and timely including responses to client queries.
• Preparation and review of monthly/quarterly client management accounts.
• Preparation of required tax returns for filing with HMRC including, VAT, corporation tax, partnership tax, P11ds and PSAs.
• Preparation of FCA returns utilising data from the client’s management accounts on a half yearly/quarterly basis.
• Preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with FRS105, FRS102 Section 1A, FRS102 or IFRS, including consolidated and LLP financial statements.
• Liaison with client and their auditors to ensure timely filing of their audited financial statements.
• Coordination with colleagues to ensure efficient and timely delivery of client deliverables.
• Any ad-hoc items required by the team.

Your skills:

• Graduated from an accounting or finance degree.
• Studying towards a qualification, such as ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Excel.
• Strong sense of ownership and detailed orientated.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work to a demanding schedule.
• Excellent numeracy skills.
• Valid work permit for the UK.
