Career Opportunity:
Centralis are seeking a Project Manager with 3-4 years experience to join on a full-time basis within the Group Transformation team. This role reports into the Group Head of Transformation although will work closely with stakeholders across the business in Client Services and internal functions.
You will have the following responsibilities:
- Manage and support cross-functional and multi-jurisdictional IT + Transformation projects, ensuring these are delivered to time and cost
- Manage projects from initiation to completion within an agreed project framework – managing project mobilisation, risks, scope, cost-tracking, and escalations and capturing lessons learned
- Maintain up-to-date, timely and accurate project reporting for stakeholder management and oversight, including the use of digital tools to track and record progress e.g. project plans, risk registers
- Manage and support new technology adoption within the organisation and input into change management initiatives
- Participate in discovery and configuration workshops for larger scale technology transformation initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders of varying seniority, both internally (Client-Facing, HR, IT, Finance, Risk & Compliance) and externally (3rd party advisors, technology providers) to deliver project outcomes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop robust business cases within a standardised project framework
- Support the head of transformation in project and portfolio-level benefits tracking and realisation within the benefits framework
- Help foster project-related continuous improvement and maturity within the organization through embedding best-practice in project delivery
Your skills:
- 3-4+ years of experience as a Project Manager within the Financial Services industry, working with technical and business teams to independently deliver projects to time and cost
- Track record of successfully delivering projects within technology transformation / change, ideally within the context of a management consultancy or equivalent professional services
- Demonstrable knowledge of common project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Monday.com), project management frameworks and methodologies: Waterfall + Agile
- Prior experience in business analysis, automation and operational improvement initiatives is preferred. Exposure to corporate services and fund services a plus
- A collaborative mindset with strong stakeholder management skills – happy to be hands-on in a collaborative environment to achieve outcomes
- Highly numerate – comfortable with project-related numerical data, in particular in benefits quantification
- Excellent communication in English, both written and oral – presents with clarity and confidence, adapting style to audience, collaborative approach
- Excellent time management skills – plans and prioritises effectively
- Problem solver - strong attention to detail, identifies issues and opportunities proactively
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, business or related field. First class / upper second class (UK), ECTS 5 / 4 (Europe) or equivalent
- Project management qualifications / certifications required e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, CAPM, PMQ
