The FCA has granted a short extension for UK investment firms to prepare for the new prudential regime until 1 January 2022.
Good news that the new rules will no longer bite as early as June 2021, and an indication that the regulator prefers firms to take the time to get it done right. They would certainly expect nothing less from the investment firms they regulate, so we encourage firms not to take their foot off the gas.
