Career Opportunity:

We are currently recruiting an Security Operations Engineer for our Budapest office. The successful candidate will demonstrate an eagerness to learn and have a flexible approach to their work.


Within a team, you will have the following responsibilities:

As a Security Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the framework around our security operations.

  • You will work closely with various departments, IT teams, and external partners to manage the security posture in our environment.
  • Manage security incidents, implement response actions, and coordinate with various stakeholders.
  • Develop a phishing response process by introducing modern tools and current best practices.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the managed SOC and CSIRT, and oversee the service delivery.
  • Implement a vulnerability management and configuration review process by defining suitable procedures and deploying relevant tools.
  • Manage and optimize the XDR platform.
  • Contribute to the development of security metrics to monitor the effectiveness of the security program and its controls.


Your skills:

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Defender XDR suite (Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, Defender for Identity, Microsoft Defender for Cloud).
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel for threat detection and incident investigation.
  • Strong understanding of Azure AD, Conditional Access, MFA, Intune, and Microsoft Purview (formerly Compliance Center).
  • Solid knowledge of vulnerability management, threat hunting, and configuration reviews.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders (e.g. IT teams, business units, vendors, external SOC).
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, and a proactive approach.
  • Experience in drafting response procedures, post-incident reports, and playbooks.
