Centralis Group announces the appointment of Tim Eyles as Chair, effective as of 15 December, 2020.

Tim is a former International Board Chair & Managing Partner at global professional services firm Taylor Wessing (TW) which he led through a period of transformational growth from 2009 to 2018. Under Tim’s leadership, TW’s global turnover increased by 60% and profitability by 90% with the business opening 20 new offices in Europe, the US, the Middle East and Asia. Apart from hugely expanding TW’s international network, Tim is also credited with making it a more recognisable brand. A committed leader, Tim has acknowledged expertise in motivating individuals and teams, and in building strong client relationships.

Since leaving TW, Tim has established a portfolio of roles across a range of sectors including healthcare, financial services, technology and the arts. These include being Chair of Celsus, a UK-leading supplier of primary and acute care talent & other medical services to its healthcare provider clients and backed by private equity. He is also Chair at Pacific Asset Management, the core asset management business of Pacific Investments, the global financial services group founded by Sir John Beckwith and on whose board Tim also serves.

In the not-for-profit world Tim is Chair of the Royal Society of the Arts, where he helps deliver the organisation’s purpose: uniting people and ideas to resolve the challenges of our time. He is also Chair of the Theatres Trust, a UK Government body which promotes theatres so that live performance is available for everyone.

“We are delighted to welcome Tim to Centralis” says Aidan Foley, Centralis Group CEO. “Tim is exactly the type of Chair we hoped to appoint, bringing to Centralis invaluable experience in expanding a professional services firm. Tim’s appointment is an important milestone in the journey we have embarked on following CBPE Capital’s investment in our Group. The entire Centralis Board is greatly looking forward to working together with Tim”.

Tim Eyles added ‘I’m honoured to be joining Centralis. Aidan and his dynamic leadership team are hugely impressive as are the Centralis clients, many of whom are global corporates, institutions, funds and family offices, attracted by the deep Centralis commitment to excellent service. The business has grown remarkably in recent years and I’m much looking forward to assisting with the ambitious plans to expand Centralis into new geographies and services.
