We are delighted to announce the appointment of Stuart Gartery, who has recently joined the Private Client Tax Team at Wheelhouse Advisors as a Tax Manager.

He brings with him considerable experience in dealing with international and domestic tax issues for private clients.

Prior to joining Wheelhouse Advisors, Stuart held Managerial positions with a number of sizeable accountancy practices including Moore Stephens, BDO and Grant Thornton, providing professional services to high net worth UK and non-UK domiciled private clients and their businesses. He has advised many non-UK domiciled individuals on taking up residence in the UK and structuring their affairs in a tax efficient manner prior to arrival. He has also advised many individuals on leaving the UK to take up residence abroad.

In addition, Stuart spent a number of years in Jersey working for RBC Wealth Management, where he provided tax, trust and fiduciary solutions to ultra-high net worth clients, with a specific focus on those who were connected to the UK through domicile, residence or investment. This places him in an ideal position to advise those within the Investment Management arena.

He is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) and a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP).
