COP26, the 26th United Nations Climate Change conference, was held in Glasgow at the beginning of this month. A member of the Wheelhouse team was lucky enough to not only visit Glasgow during the time of the conference but was also invited to join some of the conversations that were taking place during the conference itself. An experience not to be forgotten.

Our colleague who visited COP 26 was proud to be able to share that her employer was part of the solution and not the problem.

Our colleague was able to share that Wheelhouse challenges its own carbon footprint, works towards reducing carbon pollution and helps make the planet a little bit greener by supporting tree planting initiatives. We are a paperless company and also encourage travel to work by public transport or bicycle. We are part of the ‘cycle to work’ scheme and support employees with the burden of annual travel tickets if they wish to travel by train. Employees have recently received thanks from the company in recognition of our efforts at reducing the impact of disposable bags and disposable cups used at work.
