Centralis are seeking a Business Analyst with 3-4 years of experience to join its Transformation + Change function on a full-time basis. Centralis' transformation agenda covers both business and technology projects to support Centralis' continued organic and acquisition-led growth. You will join a small, collaborative Transformation team and reports into the Group Head of Transformation in our Budapest/Sofia office and will work closely with senior stakeholders across multiple departments in project delivery.

You will have the following responsibilities

  • Lead the business analysis discipline for organisation-wide technology implementations - defining business requirements, supporting design, configuration and user testing through the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with the business on non-technology, business-focused projects to support standardisation, consolidation, and process re-design initiatives, for example following merger & acquisitions activity, or new products & services rollout
  • Facilitate and support design workshops with stakeholders from across departments (Client Services, Finance, Risk, Commercial) managing inputs, outputs and final design deliverables
  • Support Operational Excellence / Process Improvement initiatives - from identification and delivery through to implementation and benefits tracking, within a defined Operational Excellence framework
  • Articulate and document project-driven process, governance & ways of working changes, keeping these up to date
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (project sponsors + SMEs, Project Managers) and external 3rd party advisors & technology providers to drive successful project outcomes
  • Assist with ad hoc analysis across operational teams

Your skills

  • 2–3-4+ years of hands-on experience in Business Analysis roles within Financial Services, Consultancy, Technology Advisory or equivalent professional services organisations. Exposure to corporate services and fund services a plus.
  • Track record of successful delivery within organisation-wide transformation & change programmes, for both business (non-tech) and technology projects
  • Demonstrable competency in business logic, process design, requirements definition and process mapping tools (e.g. BPMN, Visio)
  • Comfortable operating within both waterfall and Agile project delivery frameworks
  • Prior experience with, and working knowledge of, Microsoft technology applications (MS Dynamics, Business Central) is a positive
  • Capability and experience in delivering Operational Excellence/Process Improvement/Continuous Improvement initiatives within recognised frameworks e.g. Lean Six Sigma, Systems Thinking.
  • A collaborative mindset with strong stakeholder management skills – happy to be hands-on in a collaborative environment to achieve outcomes
  • Highly numerate – comfortable with quantitative and qualitative data
  • Excellent communication in English, both written and oral – presents with clarity and confidence, adapting style to audience
  • Excellent time management skills – plans and prioritises effectively
  • Problem solver - strong attention to detail, identifies issues and opportunities proactively
