Centralis Group is building a modern Azure-based analytics platform to transform how we use data across the organisation. Our core stack includes Microsoft Fabric, Power BI Online, Python, T-SQL, and Azure services, and we are in the process of scaling out and enhancing our enterprise-grade data warehouse. As part of this initiative, we are recruiting a Data Analyst to join a growing data function and be involved in the warehouse development, Power BI modelling, and business-facing analytics delivery. This is an excellent role for someone who is strong at SQL, comfortable with data modelling, and able to turn raw data into clear, impactful insights for stakeholders. You will join a small, highly collaborative team and will play a key role in shaping the analytical foundations of our business.

You will have the following responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and enhance T-SQL data models in Microsoft Fabric.
  • Develop semantic models and measures in Power BI, ensuring accuracy, performance, and consistency across the business.
  • Write, optimise, and document SQL transformations, including joins, aggregations, window functions, and business logic.
  • Partner with departments across the company to gather reporting needs and translate them into reusable datasets.
  • Build dashboards, reports, and KPI models using Power BI, including DAX calculations and row-level security.
  • Perform data quality checks and contribute to governance standards across the analytics stack.
  • Support with upstream logic when necessary and ensure downstream models are reliable.
  • Participate in the deployment lifecycle, including Fabric workspace management, dataset refreshes, and monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot data issues end-to-end and perform root cause analysis.
  • Maintain clear documentation for data models, logic definitions, and report usage.
  • Drive adoption of BI tools across teams by supporting users and providing training on dashboards and self-service analytics.
  • Assist with ad-hoc data analysis across finance, operations, and commercial teams.

Your skills

  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or SQL Developer.
  • Strong SQL skills (T-SQL preferred), including experience writing complex queries.
  • Practical experience with Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, semantic models, and report optimisation.
  • Understanding of modern data warehousing concepts such as bronze/silver/gold layers, ETL/ELT, and dimensional modelling.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL, or similar cloud data platforms.
  • Ability to partner directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and convert them into data models and dashboards.
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment and taking ownership of deliverables.
  • Clear communication skills (written and spoken), able to translate technical concepts for non-technical users.
  • Desirable: Experience with Python; Familiarity with version control (CI/CD); Understanding of data governance, quality standards, and documentation best practices; Power BI PL-300 certification.
